Our Story

The idea for Lawijt didn't come from a large company, but from the stories of female friends. Stories in which they shared how unsafe they sometimes felt on the street.
Those stories stuck with us and soon grew into a mission.
We wanted to create something that really helps: a small, powerful tool that gives confidence, but also suits who we are: young, independent, and style-conscious.

This is how The Guardianess was born: a discreet personal alarm in four different colors, combining protection and design. And soon, several new variants will be added.
